SMU Circle Fund
SMU Circle Fund is SMU’s first-ever monthly giving initiative that offers an easy way for the SMU community to maintain sustained impact over time.
Through monthly contributions, your recurring gift to the SMU Circle Fund will provide financial aid to SMU students from underprivileged backgrounds, and level the playing field for them to experience a holistic student life at SMU.

Benefits of Giving
- Singapore-resident individual and corporate tax payers will enjoy tax deductions of 2.5 times for qualified donations made before 26 December 2024.
- Every dollar you donate will attract an additional matching grant from the Singapore government.
- With your gift, many of our students will be able to achieve their educational and career goals. This often instils in them a sense of gratitude, and the aspiration to give back to society in the ways they can.

What payment methods can I use?
Currently, only recurring credit card payments are supported. This can be done through our donation form.
Is there a minimum amount for recurring gifts?
From $20 a month, your gift will have a lasting impact to our community.
I have donated, why does it state that I have contributed $0?
Thank you for your contribution. The funds will be deducted from your account on the 8th of every month, and a receipt reflecting your donation will be sent to you after processing.
Can I change or cancel my recurring gift?
Please write in to the Alumni Giving team and we will assist you.
